Our Story
PRN Connect was founded by three pharmacy students who shared a common realization during their training: many people in the community struggle to navigate their health and medications safely because they lack clear, accessible information and resources. Through our experiences in healthcare settings and community interactions, we saw how gaps in health literacy and medication understanding can affect individuals and families. This inspired us to create an organization dedicated to bringing practical health knowledge directly to the communities that need it most.

As future healthcare professionals, we believe healthcare should extend beyond clinics and pharmacies to reach people where they live, learn, and work. Education, prevention, and awareness can empower individuals to better understand their health, manage medications responsibly, and access the services available to them, but this information must be approachable, trustworthy, and tailored to the needs of the different communities we serve.

Our work is grounded in the belief that when individuals have access to clear knowledge and the right resources, they are better equipped to take an active role in their health and support the wellbeing of those around them. By strengthening health literacy and connecting communities with essential resources, PRN Connect aims to create a future where people feel confident navigating their health and communities are empowered to thrive together.
